SB 141 (2025) - Statewide school district accountability system
Requires districts that receive state school money to measure student outcomes such as third-grade reading, eighth-grade math, ninth-grade on-track and graduation rates, and set growth goals with ODE. Districts that miss goals for years face coaching and, eventually, state direction of up to 25 percent of some funds. Signed July 31, 2025 (Oregon Laws 2025, chapter 406).
