PPS releases rightsizing scenarios: 14 or 11 closures, seven K-8s to become K-5
Reports Scenario A (14 closures, 38 boundary changes) and Scenario B (11 closures, 34 boundary changes), and that the proposals would turn seven K-8 schools into K-5: Beverly Cleary, Laurelhurst, Sunnyside, Bridger, Cesar Chavez, Faubion and Vernon. Sunnyside's environmental focus status would end; most changes would take effect fall 2027.
